COSMETOLOGY PROGRAM (1,000 HOURS) The curriculum for students enrolled in a cosmetologist program shall consist of one thousand (1,000) clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the all of cosmetology pursuant to Section 7316 of the Barbering and Cosmetology Act. Technical instruction means instruction given by demonstration, lecture, classroom participation, or examination. Practical operation shall mean actual performance by the student of a complete service on another person or mannequin.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN IN THE FOLLOWING SUBJECT MATER:
Salon Mgmt., communication skills that includes professional ethics, salesmanship, decorum, record keeping, client service record cards and preparing a resume, employment development, modeling, desk and reception, and care and other subjects relating to Cosmetology field.
